Description MeC0b 2012-05-14 08:23:31 UTC
I tried to watch the attached video on a website. I clicked PLAY and the program went out to the desktop (without reporting any error to kde.bugs.org).
At the second attempt the program hung and I had to manually send a KILL signal.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Just open link in Akregator
2. Try watch the movie
3.
Actual Results:
Hang or crash

Anyway, check if you can reproduce when using the link in konqueror.

I have given above, in the form.

With Konqueror play properly, both on the engine khtml and webkit.

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of akregator (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
