Calligra Words is unusably slow when editing large documents on my laptop, which sports a 1.8GHz duel-core Intel Atom processor and 2GB of RAM. The entire interface appears far less responsive, from scrolling up and down the document and editing the document to saving or resizing/closing the window. LibreOffice writer, the word-processor I'd like to move away from, handles it much better, remaining fast, smooth and responsive.
