Description Szczepan Hołyszewski 2012-05-11 07:08:42 UTC
The message shown when an ambiguous keyboard shortcut is used in an application is not very informative. It should list the conflicting shortcuts, and where each of them is defined.

Motivating case: I want to paste something into the Konsole pane in Dolphin using Shift+Ins, and I receive the ambiguous shortcut dialog. I open Dolphin's shortcut editor and can only find one action assigned to Shift+Ins, which means that the other conflicting action is defined elsewhere, possibly globally. This sends me on a quest to hunt down the offending shortcut definition in systemsettings - a daunting task!

Reproducible: Always

NOTE WELL about my choice of the component for which I am reporting this bug: I have no idea what part of KDE handles keyboard shortcuts, so I just chose the single component that is anyhow related to keyboard shortcuts. Please reassign if necessary.
