When I try to exit or save picture changes I get the following message:

Could not open file for writing, check that you have the necessary rights in /home/bruce/Pictures/2011 pilgrim 1/.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open gwenview
2.change a picture
3.try to save change
Actual Results:  
Obtain message:

Could not open file for writing, check that you have the necessary rights in /home/bruce/Pictures/2011 pilgrim 1/.

Expected Results:  
should have just saved the changes

is this still the case? If yes, which version are you using and does this also occur in other folders?

I have upgraded to Ubuntu 18.04 and the problem is resolved.
