Created attachment 70890 [details] New crash information added by DrKonqi kmix (4) on KDE Platform 4.8.2 (4.8.2) using Qt 4.8.1 - What I was doing when the application crashed:Kmix crashed previously without warning. In the crash report, kmix was not mentioned as having crashed. I noticed the tray icon was not there, so I launced it from the menu. I then clicked on the mixer button and tried to raise the volume and it crashed again. Previously, it had crashed on opening and selection of mkv in Vlc. -- Backtrace (Reduced): #7 0x00007eff05423e26 in MDWSlider::update (this=0x1819270) at ../../kmix/gui/mdwslider.cpp:1001 #8 0x00007eff0541f64b in ViewDockAreaPopup::refreshVolumeLevels (this=<optimized out>) at ../../kmix/gui/viewdockareapopup.cpp:168 [...] #11 0x00007eff053f8b0c in Mixer_Backend::readSetFromHW (this=0x17bb6d0) at ../../kmix/backends/mixer_backend.cpp:155 #12 0x00007eff05408df5 in sink_cb (c=<optimized out>, i=<optimized out>, eol=<optimized out>) at ../../kmix/backends/mixer_pulse.cpp:191 [...] #15 0x00007efefb422a03 in pa_pdispatch_run () from /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libpulsecommon-1.1.so

It output the following w/o the quotes: "QDBusConnection: session D-Bus connection created before QCoreApplication. Application may misbehave." I'll try restarting to see if that helps. -- Backtrace (Reduced): #7 0x00007f0f2ac10e26 in MDWSlider::update (this=0x22afb00) at ../../kmix/gui/mdwslider.cpp:1001 #8 0x00007f0f2ac0c64b in ViewDockAreaPopup::refreshVolumeLevels (this=<optimized out>) at ../../kmix/gui/viewdockareapopup.cpp:168 [...] #11 0x00007f0f2abe5b0c in Mixer_Backend::readSetFromHW (this=0x2253220) at ../../kmix/backends/mixer_backend.cpp:155 #12 0x00007f0f2abf5df5 in sink_cb (c=<optimized out>, i=<optimized out>, eol=<optimized out>) at ../../kmix/backends/mixer_pulse.cpp:191 [...] #15 0x00007f0f20c0fa03 in pa_pdispatch_run () from /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libpulsecommon-1.1.so
