After a change of the album name the collection still shows the old one.

Could you please tell us the version of your Amarok? Don't forget to set it when you report bugs.

Also, do you have the option "Watch folders for changes" activated?

I did not see a field to set the version during report creation.

Yes, the option is activated. The changes are performed within amarok, thus it should directly see them.  The collection is correctly updated as soon as I perform a search.

This is a long standing bug apparently rather difficult to solve.
