When using the "type to skip to folder" feature, it is working only on the firstly opened folder. Than it stops working. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Doplhin window 2. Type few first letters of folder you want to open 3. The folder is selected (so the feature is working there); pressing eneter opens it 4. I want to repeat step 2 (type leters to select) for the newly shown subfolders, but it is not working. Actual Results: After typing the letters, none folder is selected, even if folders beginning with the letters pressed obviouslly exists there. Expected Results: The folder should be selected. It stopped working after KDE update from 4.8.1 to 4.8.2. I beleive it is somehow related to lower/uppercase. I have e.g. folders "Desktop" (beggining with D) and "download" (begginning with d). When I press "d" (lower one) following with "e", it jumps (correctly) to the "Desktop" item. But now I am not able to jump to the "download" folder, even if i "deselect" the Desktop folder. The lowercase "d" now stops working. Another weird thing - when the window lost focus, and then it is returned, it is working again properly (until next folder is selected).
Thanks for the bug report! This is fixed in KDE 4.8.3. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 297488 ***
