After setting up a playlist, every other track was skipped as if there was a problem with it. When I went back to the skipped track it played without fail but reset the order of random reproduction. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Create and start reproducing a playlist. 2.Allow track to play through. 3.Notice that the next track queued is skipped and the next one after that is played. Actual Results: Same as before. Expected Results: Played the next track, not skip it.
Which Amarok version do you use? Which Phonon backend and version do you use?
I'm using the following: Amarok v2.4.3Phonon GStreamer backend v4.5.1 (both from standard Linux Mint packages) > From: myriam@kde.org > To: daftqwert@hotmail.co.uk > Subject: [Bug 299019] Every other track is automtically skipped during reproduction. > Date: Mon, 30 Apr 2012 00:13:46 +0000 > > https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=299019 > > Myriam Schweingruber <myriam@kde.org> changed: > > What |Removed |Added > ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEEDSINFO > Resolution|--- |WAITINGFORINFO > > --- Comment #1 from Myriam Schweingruber <myriam@kde.org> --- > Which Amarok version do you use? > Which Phonon backend and version do you use? > > -- > You are receiving this mail because: > You reported the bug.
Please make sure you have no track progression filter set and upgrade to Amarok 2.5
Problem persists after upgrade to Amarok 2.5.0, using Phonon backend 4.5.1. -----Original Message----- From: Myriam Schweingruber Sent: Tuesday, May 08, 2012 3:14 PM To: daftqwert@hotmail.co.uk Subject: [Bug 299019] Every other track is automtically skipped during reproduction. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=299019 Myriam Schweingruber <myriam@kde.org> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Severity|major |normal
Could you please either upgrade to the phonon-backend-gstramer 4.6.0 or use the phonon-backend.vlc 0.5.0 instead? This is likely a problem with the Phonon backend.
Closing for lack of feedback. Please feel free to reopen this report if you can still reproduce this with Amarok 2.6.0 or later and provide the requested information.
