Description Nikolai Försterling 2012-04-20 15:02:08 UTC
Due to problems with PrintScreen/Window (Alt-Print) via the common keyboard shortcuts on a new Apple keyboard, i've been looking for an alternative taking screenshots, especially from custom areas.
I remembered ksnapshot being a good program.
Unfortunately, after configuring some KDE-shortcuts to "ksnapshot --region" and after selecting the area there's no way to not being prompted by the main window of ksnapshot.
That is the idea, a command line option like "--copy-to-clipboard", providing an optimal workflow: 1.strg+Fxx (executing "ksnapshot --region --clipboard"), 2. select area, 3. paste into any application

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:
After executing "ksnapshot --region" via a shortcut, the main window prompts

Expected Results:
There's an option for copying the result of the command line parameters to clipboard

Looking forward for this to happen.

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years and I will be closing this bug. Spectacle is the replacement for ksnapshot now. Please test again and file a new bug for Spectacle if you still have issues. Thank you!
