Description Alessandro Briosi 2012-04-19 08:44:14 UTC
When you open konsole with a different profile (i.e. with an ssh user@host as a command), if you click on new tab or new window the proposed profile is the default one.
I think it should open a new tab or a new windows with current profile.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. create a profile which is different from the default one (i.e. example)
2. open a konsole with the non standard profile (i.e. konsole --profile example)
3. now do a file -> new tab (or CTRL-SHIFT-T)

Actual Results:
The opened tab profile is the default one and not the current

Expected Results:
The opened tab profile shuld be the current in current tab, or provide a way to open a tab with new profile

Thanks for reporing.

The change is intentional. See bug 184788.

A new "CLone Tab" action will be added in KDE SC 4.9. See bug 292518.
