Description Piotr 'piter' Hlawski 2012-04-17 06:54:01 UTC
OS: Kubuntu 11.10 with KDE 4.8.2
Laptop: Lenovo T420s

I have an unusual setup - I'm using external USB soundcard which is connected into external monitor USB port. After swiching off power in my monitor and switching on again KMix is crashing (I believe it is segfault), the same situation occurs when suspending laptop and resuming again.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Case 1:

1. Connect external USB soundcard into monitor, and then monitor into computer
2. Setup correctly card as main soundcard
3. Switch off monitor
4. Swich on monitor

Segfault will occur in KMix

Case 2:

1. Connect external USB soundcard into monitor, and then monitor into computer
2. Setup correctly card as main soundcard
3. Suspend system
4. Resume system

Segfault will occur in KMix

Expected Results:
Of course no segfault :)
