User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/534.34 (KHTML, like Gecko) rekonq Safari/534.34 Build Identifier: I quite often receive a notification about the connection to the server been lost. This happens for example when I move from cable connection to wifi and vica versa. Or when the internet connection is slow and the connection to the server ist lost for a moment. The problem about this is that when the notification has arrived, the connection has already been reestablished and is quite useless and is distracting. I would suggest to show the notification only when the connection is lost and can not be reestablished within a certain time frame. I do not know what is reasonable, may be 5 or 10 seconds. In this case the notification would only be shown when it really matters, when it is likely that the reason for the interruption will last longer. I support the request! As I have some 20 mail accounts I, too, get a lot of annoying notifications. One situation when I am really bombed with them is when my provider cuts connection once every 24 hours. While the message as such is correct, then, I have to say, that: 1. The sound is getting on my nerves and I haven't found a way to switch it off, without switching off KDE PIM notifications, at all. 2. Other mail clients don't behave like this, and earlier KMail versions didn't have the problem.
I've been encountering the same problem here. I get the notification every two or three minutes, and I've only got 4 email accounts! Wish this fixed in the next update. Thanks
