In many sites there are links with a .atom link.
I click on the link and i choose "Open with Akregator"
But i dont have it in my RSS flux in akregator after this action

If i copy the link and after i open akregator > Flux > add flux, it insert the flux in my RSS list in Akregator.
An example is here:
http://linuxfr.org/users/coin--2/journaux/disparition-des-flux-rss
click on the "Suivre le flux des commentaires" at the bottom of the page or directly on the link: http://linuxfr.org/nodes/90266/comments.atom

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Clic on the url http://linuxfr.org/nodes/90266/comments.atom in the bottom of the page http://linuxfr.org/users/coin--2/journaux/disparition-des-flux-rss
2. Open with Akregator

Actual Results:
3. It does not insert it as a flux in akregator. Akregator just opens without perform any action

Expected Results:
Insert the flux in the list with the followed flux with the default settings or open the insert dialog to confirm the importation

My browser is konqueror

Please change the word flux with feed
Comment 2 Dimitrios Glentadakis 2012-04-16 18:28:08 UTC
It adds the feeds in a folder imported in the bottom and i did nt see it before.
Comment 3 Dimitrios Glentadakis 2012-04-17 05:04:13 UTC
Finaly it is valid the bug because the inserted feed in akregator with right click → open with akregator is:

file:///var/tmp/kdecache-dglent/krun/19516.0.comments.atom

instead of

http://linuxfr.org/nodes/90304/comments.atom

for this reason i dont get updates of the feed
I found it out when i did a right click on the feed inside akregator and i chose the Edit menu.
Comment 4 Dimitrios Glentadakis 2012-04-18 18:17:31 UTC
I tried to make a service menu

[Desktop Entry]
Type=Service
X-KDE-ServiceTypes=KonqPopupMenu/Plugin
Actions=importtoakregator
MimeType=application/atom+xml;application/rss+xml

[Desktop Action importtoakregator]
Name=Import to Akregator
Icon=akregator
Exec=akregator -a %u

but it does nt work. It brings akregator in the first plan in the screen without importing the feed. If i close completly aggregator, then it works and it imports the feed

This happens also with the Open with... → Akregator. The first time it does not import the feed. If i close Akregator, the it imports the feed but as i said the wrong url (file:///var/tmp/kdecache-dglent/krun/19516.0.comments.atom)

So, the service menu could be a solution, but it does not work the first time, after the first startup
Comment 5 Dimitrios Glentadakis 2012-04-18 18:36:06 UTC
The service menu could be a solution if we want to import the link from konqueror.
If we browse a site inside akregator , unfortunately the service menu it is not available

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of akregator (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.
Comment 7 Denis Kurz 2017-01-07 22:39:33 UTC
Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
