User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686) AppleWebKit/534.34 (KHTML, like Gecko) rekonq Safari/534.34 Build Identifier: The pop up window with the button "Ready for next hand?" on takes up the whole screen. The loop I was using to get around this earlier was the "Current Application Controls" with the minimize option which cut it in half and you could drag it around. But it wasn't working this time (mostly likely because Xorg is hogging 42% of the CPU)but the X worked just fine but then there is no way to advance the game. In order to see the score explanation or any other thing like just looking at the other hands is all blocked out by this pop up window. I am running Kubuntu 12.04. Ubuntu seems to be pretty stable but in the 24 hours I have been running KDE now theres been 4 no 5 if you count the Application control and the Xorg hogging CPU would 6 crashes or major interuptions in the smooth running of a usefull system. Computer are tools to be used not babies to change their diapers every couple of hours. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Finishing a hand of mahjong 2.Next pop up window comes up and blocks out everything. 3.clicking X closes the popup window but kills any forward advancement of the game. Actual Results: See number #2 and #3 Expected Results: In Ubuntu with unity the server is less stable but the popup window is a proper sized pop up window. Nothing directly linked with this incident. I installed Fluxbox and I have an option to Run fluxbox but it doesn't seem to do anything or replace anything, But I am sure it knows how to properly handle and size popup windows.
I tried to reproduce this with kubuntu 12.04 default installation but was not able to. You say "full screen mode". Do you mean that you maximized the kajongg window, or did you choose Setting/Fullscreen mode in kajongg? You say minimizing the kajongg window cut it in half and you could drag it around. This seems wrong - minimizing a window should make it invisible. You might show me screenshots but this really sounds like a problem with Fluxbox/Unity/Ubuntu/whatever. Especially since you say it works with ubuntu/unity without Fluxbox. Maybe it would be better to ask the Fluxbox people.
I just had the same problem on a kubuntu 12.04 netbook (eeepc) with a very different program: synaptic - which is not even a KDE program. When pressing CTRL-F for searching, the search dialog goes fullscreen. So this definitively is a platform problem. Please tell the ubuntu people.
