kjotsmigrator does not succeed in converting my notes from pre-akonadi times.

akonadi-1.7.2-1.fc17.x86_64
kdepim-4.8.2-1.fc17.x86_64

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. run kjotsmigrator or kjots after upgrading to 4.8.
Actual Results:
kjotsmigrator exits with an "Unknown error".

I tried more often and never got that error again, instead kjotsmigrator only creates a akonotes resource and a maildir in ~/.local/share/notes/<random-string> and then idles instead of actually migrating anything. I even restarted akonadi, removed the resources and the maildir, but it's always the same: No more error message and kjotsmigrator never exits.

Expected Results:
It should migrate the notes just fine and exit.

akonadiconsole claims that the new akonotes resource has "No usable storage configuration configured". However when I double-click on the pop-up to configure the path it confirms "The configured path is a valid maildir". When I just click OK while kjotsmigrator is still running, it starts the migration. It seems to succeed but just before it exits I see

akonadi_nepomuk_feeder(7792) ItemQueue::fetchJobResult: Not all items were fetched:  39 77

This makes me wonder if all my notes were migrated.

There is another problem left: In kjots I now have three resources: the notes on our Kolab server, local notes and one just called "Notes". It's greyed out and every time I start kjots it causes an error: "Cannot connect to backend". I don't see this instance in akonadiconsole and I cannot delete it either. Where is this configuration stored?

Dear Bug Submitter,

This bug has been stagnant for a long time. Could you help us out and re-test if the bug is valid in the latest version? I am setting the status to NEEDSINFO pending your response, please change the Status back to REPORTED when you respond.

Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone!

You don't really expect me to be able to provide information after 6.5 years, do you? Even if I had backups from pre-akonadi times, I doubt the current version of kjots is still capable of importing them.

I no longer use kjots, thus I'll just close this WORKSFORME.
