Description BRULE Herman 2012-04-08 18:15:35 UTC
Hello, I have problem because my internet connexion is unstable. If kmail can't fetch mail during sometime, when the connexion work again, kmail not fetch the mail. I need restart kmail too retry fetch the mail.
I speek about connection timeout, not connexion refused. Max timeout problem?

Thanks.

I think you can simulate with:
iptable -I OUTPUT -d [yourpop3server] -j ACCEPT

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

This bug remain present on 4.14 and with instable internet
Comment 4 Christophe Marin 2016-09-24 21:13:44 UTC
4.14 is now unmaintained. Retry with a recent version.

For what? Reproduce a bug and have an reply into 4 years to say the test is obsolete?
