Description Jonathan M Davis 2012-04-07 04:36:01 UTC
If you have an item in your cart at www.amazon.com, there is a "Delete" link and a "Save for later" link under each item for either removing it from the cart or moving it into the "Saved for Later" portion of the cart. In Konqueror (with both KHTML and Webkit), clicking on them does absolutely nothing, whereas in other browsers such as Chrome, they properly remove the item from the cart or move it into the "Saved for Later" bucket respectively.

It's quite possible that this is an issue with amazon's page rather than with Konqueror - I have no idea how to figure that out - but clearly it does not work properly in Konqueror whereas it works properly in other browsers. It really should be determined whether it's a Konqueror bug or not and fixed if it is. It makes manipulating the shopping cart on amazon impossible in Konqueror.

Probably because Amazon uses user-agent string to determine which functionality to enable or not. You can try changing the Browser agent (Tools->Change Browser Identification) to say "Firefox 3.6.0" and see if the issue gets resolved.

Did you try changing the browser agent string to see if that is a site related issue ? Tools->Change Browser Identification->Firefox->Version 3.6.0.

Changing the browser identification does seem to fix it.
