With the current work flow it can be a bit tedious to create multiple, similar items. The first step is to open the Data Manager and then double click on the item of interest. Any text strings (e.g. an equation) cannot be selected easily with the mouse so the quickest way is to click in the text area and then select Ctrl-A and then Ctrl-C to copy the relevant text. The next step is to create a new item by selecting Create > Equation (or scaler, vector, plugin etc). Various items need to be filled out in the dialog box including name, formula, vectors etc. Then, after editing, if you want to compare it to the original item you must reopen the Data Manager to see them both together. A much simpler process would be to right click on the item of interest in the Data Manager and select "Duplicate". The newly created duplicate item could then be edited as required. This way, only the differnece between the items must be entered instead of all the information.
