Thanks for the report, but I cannot reproduce the issue. A possible workaround: Press F11 after startup to disable the information panel. The crash indicates that there is an issue in a widget used there. Did this crash occur also with 4.8.0 or did you directly update to 4.8.1?
I'm now using 4.8.1, I update from 4.7.x to 4.8.1 directly but dolphin worked for a couple of days then i started getting this error, thank's for your respond Peter :D. If you have any possible solutions tell me, I'll try to Press F11 after startup anyway. -- Yazeed
Can you still reproduce this crash? It looks related to Qt, so the bug might be fixed with Qt 5.
