User-Agent:       Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:11.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/11.0
Build Identifier:

Dolphin is unable to diagnose the situation where the floppy disc is write-protected. Copying anything onto the disc just fails with no explanation offered to the operator.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Tell Dolphin to copy dolphinui.rc to a write-protected floppy disc.
Actual Results:
  1. Log: dolphin(10204)/libkonq KonqOperations::asyncDrop: Cannot drop onto  KUrl("floppy:a/")

Expected Results:
  1. Notification: copying failed because the medium is write-protected.
