There is one specific newsletter in html format that kmail2 doesn't show. Neither in preview or when opened. When editing the email, everything is shown fine, though. When forwarded, the html codes get inserted as plain text.

Note that the text/plain part of the email is empty so *in case* KMail prefers Plain Text over HTML this is not a bug.

No, I have prefer html over plain text enabled.

In my opinion this is still a bug because Kmail should handle the case where the text/plain part is empty, even if it is the fault of a bad mail client.

Problem persists in kde 4.8.3

Same here with a daily newsletter. Nothing shows in the mean time. Had in the beginning some showing of the content with send or reply. Using KDE Development Platform 4.8.3 (4.8.3) "release 504"
All other html news letters and emails are showing without problems

Can't reproduce in 4.9.

Since approx. one week html emails are fully shown. For me the problem has been solved in 4.8.5
