Application: kate (3.8.1)
KDE Platform Version: 4.8.1 (4.8.1)
Qt Version: 4.8.0
Operating System: Linux 3.0.0-17-generic x86_64
Distribution: Ubuntu 11.10

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
I had two documents open using the "Split vertical" button.
I right-clicked the main toolbar (under the menu).
The application crashed.

I can reproduce this consistently. Sometimes I need to right-click two or three times to trigger the crash, but it always happens quickly enough.

The crash can be reproduced every time.
