The download and renamed of pictures from camera take a set of unsort photos. The order of the list of pictures is different at the order in camera.
This is a uncomfortable problem for the focus stacking technique or HDR, and this prevents I can to use digikam if I take a timelapse.

Please updated to last 2.5.0 where a lots of sorting options have been added...

This problem is not reproducible using current 5.8.0 pre-release bundle
available here :
