Thanks for the report, but I don't understand: Please describe what you mean with "path button". The buttons in the location bar?

> for example to paste some path to the terminal

So you want to drag a button from the location bar to the terminal so that a "cd <path_from_button>" is done?
Comment 2 Юрий 2012-03-25 12:28:56 UTC
Yes, but in terminal should be dragged only "<path_from_button>"
For example try to drug some item from "places" (It is left panel by default, I do not know it's name in English), it works with it.

Ok, I understood, but what should happen after I dragged the item to the terminal panel? Should the terminal change the location?
Comment 4 Юрий 2012-03-25 16:29:03 UTC
No, just paste the path to there, it is very useful sometimes
Comment 5 Юрий 2012-03-25 16:31:51 UTC
And it must not work only in terminal in dolphin, also in another ones such as Konsole or Termilal
Comment 6 Peter Penz 2012-03-25 16:34:07 UTC
Ok, thanks for the explanation. This is out of scope of Dolphin and must be handled by the konsole.
Comment 7 Юрий 2012-03-25 16:57:20 UTC
But Dolphin doesn't create drag object, Konsole handles some other objects like folder objects or objects from left panel
Comment 8 Jekyll Wu 2012-03-25 17:22:04 UTC
Peter:

I think the reporter's problem is "the location bar in dolphin does not support dragging", not that "konsolepart does not support dropping". Dropping a folder into konsolepart works well.
Comment 9 Юрий 2012-03-25 17:26:47 UTC
Jekyll Wu, you are quite right
Comment 10 Peter Penz 2012-03-25 19:00:31 UTC
@Jekyll Wu: Ah, thanks for clarifying! I've wrongly read comment 2 and thought that the dropping is the issue. My fault... ;-)

Resetting assignee to default as per bug #305719
