Thanks for the report, but I don't understand: Please describe what you mean with "path button". The buttons in the location bar? > for example to paste some path to the terminal So you want to drag a button from the location bar to the terminal so that a "cd <path_from_button>" is done?
Yes, but in terminal should be dragged only "<path_from_button>" For example try to drug some item from "places" (It is left panel by default, I do not know it's name in English), it works with it.
> For example try to drug some item from "places" (It is left panel > by default, I do not know it's name in English), it works with it. Ok, I understood, but what should happen after I dragged the item to the terminal panel? Should the terminal change the location?
No, just paste the path to there, it is very useful sometimes
And it must not work only in terminal in dolphin, also in another ones such as Konsole or Termilal
Ok, thanks for the explanation. This is out of scope of Dolphin and must be handled by the konsole.
But Dolphin doesn't create drag object, Konsole handles some other objects like folder objects or objects from left panel
Peter: I think the reporter's problem is "the location bar in dolphin does not support dragging", not that "konsolepart does not support dropping". Dropping a folder into konsolepart works well.
Jekyll Wu, you are quite right
@Jekyll Wu: Ah, thanks for clarifying! I've wrongly read comment 2 and thought that the dropping is the issue. My fault... ;-)
