picture of my screen after it happened

Every time I switch desktops the screen goes black. Version 4.8.1. It wasn't on the select list. 
Attached is a picture of my screen now. Somehow I right clicked a bunch of times and terminal came up..

Is it still an issue in recent versions (KDE SC 4.8.4 or higher) ?
