It would be nice if tellico came with a recipe collection. All the pieces for a basic recipe are already there. For example a paragraph could be used for the instructions, a table for the ingredients, a number for the amount of time it takes, keywords, a title, etc. KDE currently lacks a maintained, dedicated recipe collection program, but we don't need one because tellico has all the pieces already.
So you're suggesting a pre-defined recipe collection? As you point out, it's easy to create a custom collection for recipes with Tellico as it is.
It is possible to create a custom recipe collection, but having it ship with a collection pre-defined (perhaps also with a recipe data source and USDA ingredient information source) would emphasize to people that it is useful for this. It might not occur to people who were using krecipes before development stalled that they can use tellico for this. Including it be default should make it clear. Further, it is a different type of collection than the others, which can show people how versatile tellico is and perhaps give them ideas for other sorts of collections they hadn't thought of before.
Coming back to an old wishlist, I'm going to close it. I don't plan to add a default recipe collection.
