Description regi.hops 2012-03-24 09:11:25 UTC
I updated the certificates on my IMAP-Server.
KMail complains that the validity of the certificate can't be checked - that's correct.
In the following dialog I accepted the certificate ONLY FOR THE CURRENT SESSION.

Now I would expect that KMail complains again about the certificate the next time I start KMail.
I close KMail and start it again - nothing.
I close KDE, login again and start KMail - nothing.
I reboot the machine, login to KDE and start KMail - nothing.

It seems that KMail accepted the certificate not only temporarily.
May this is a side effect to this fix https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=233628

Here some details about the version:
openSUSE 12.1 x86_64
KDE 4.7.4 - with recent updates
KMail 4.7.4-8.1

Sorry - I get the term "session" (or better the german translation of it) wrong.
Now after a few hours - independent of any restart/reboot - KMail complains again (which is correct).
I was only too impatient.

So everything is handled correctly :-)
No bug.

Cheers
