Description Andreas Roth 2012-03-24 08:10:13 UTC
I enabled the otion "Resume playback on start" and when i log in again, amarok restores the last playback position. So far so good, but amarok only shows the status of playing, but there is no music and the position slider does not move either. When i press pause and play again nothing changes. Amarok tells me (via notification) that its playing the song, but no music and position does not change too.
To get it playing again, i have to select a different song (e.g. double clicking it). But the newly selected song starts at the position the last song was supposed to continue.
I'm using KDE 4.8.1 with the latest amarok packages available for Ubuntu oneiric x86_64. I've installed the phonon-backend-vlc version 0.4.1 and vlc version 1.1.12.
