Hello, Since 4.8.0 I believe, kmail does not display my IMAP account on laposte.net. I tried to create new accounts in kmail and I have the same problem. With other clients i have no problem checking my emails. In the Akonadi debugger i get: AgentBase(akonadi_imap_resource_3): Select failed, server replied: A000036 NO System I/O error. The Resource Task List is the following: ResourceScheduler: Online current task: 21 Invalid (no task) queue 0 is empty queue 1 is empty queue 2 is empty queue 3 is empty queue 4 is empty Thanks!
The problem is still there with KDE 4.8.4, I cannot check emails on a laposte.net account. Thanks!

Hello, Yes. I have the exact same problem on different computer, even starting from a clean configuration. I also created another laposte.net account to try, same result. That being said for the last few days I have seen an improvement as it sometimes works (maybe an update on their part that prevents the triggering of the bug in kmail?). I will keep an eye on this over the next few weeks. Thanks!
I create an laposte.net account and work fine here. Which is you imap setting (not password, not address please) But SSL ? etc.
I tried with and without SSL as far as i can remember. "Clear text" authentication. No server-side subscription, no disconnected mode. I have regular mail checking activated (interval of 5 minutes) as IMAP IDLE does not seem to work with laposte. However right now laposte works. I will try to play again with the settings when it is broken. Thanks!
