Description m.eik michalke 2012-03-18 12:15:14 UTC
the anti spam wizard in kmail2 successfully detects CRM114 installations and creates some filter rules. two of them, "classify as spam" and "classify as non-spam", are also added as buttons to the menu.

these two filters don't work as intended. at least they do not actually train messages to improve the CRM114 filtering, because the wizard-generated filter invokes the mailreaver script by "run program", and not "pipe through program". in effect, mails filtered by these rules are only moved to other folders (if at all). you can check this by applying these filters on mails and examine the headers afterwards -- the CRM114 headers remain unchanged.

the wizard should generate filters that pipe mails through the mailreaver script instead.

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
