Currently, the logviewer shows only the accountnames of contacts in the listing on the left. This makes it hard to find the history of a contact of which you probably only know the real name, e.g. account: uB3rl337|-|aXX0r@im-provider.tld real name: John Doe My personal use-case: Our company uses shortnames for XMPP-accounts, e.g. "Elias Probst" becomes "ep@company.com". I'd prefer to be able to filter by the real-names of my colleagues instead. The filter below should still filter also by accountname.
Thanks for your remarks. This issue has been fixed recently by commit d7cc5c8 [0]. The list view has been converted to a per-account tree view and contact's real name (or alias) is shown. Filtering by both account name and real name was added by commit 3a3a945 [1].
