I would like to see View image styled row of photos in Image editor of Digikam.
That would allow assing tools/editing per photo before saving the changes.
So image editor would act like batch queue manager but with decent preview of the changes and per image changes. Saving changes would happen same time for the all changed images just like in the batch queue manager, after the users starts the saving process.
ps: Same kind of workflow is possible in OlympusViewer2 RAW editing mode.

Reproducible: Always

The batch queue manager is not designed to support this mode, and there is no plan to implement it in the future.

The workaround is to open a pool of image where you load on image with a dedicated workflow to assign.
