Hi,

I can repoduce it every times with different file formats...

Every time I put amarok in pause, the next start put the master volume into 95% !

It is a new behaviour since 2.5.0 version !

I put also the debian system informations below

Strange, I can't reproduce this here at all, but then, I always have my master volume channel at around 100% and do modify the volume in Amarok or on the external speakers.
But I doubt that Amarok is changing anything in the master volume channel to be honest, it doesn't even touch that layer as all sound output is done by Phonon.

You may be right !

I have the same behaviour with dragon player when play-stop video so it could be linked to phonon...
