Description Mathias Homann 2012-03-09 08:45:13 UTC
It would help a lot towards a "single sign on" if the user could mark certain apps as "this app can open my wallet in read-only mode on startup without me entering a password".

That way it would be possible to have kopete and choqok in autostart, and use akonadi (which autostarts anyways), and still enter only one password to login.

There could be a "grace period" where the apps would be allowed r-o access to the wallet without user confirmation, and after that period and for r-w access the user would still have to enter the password.

Actually there *is* a grace period before wallet gets automatically closed. Please check the system settings / account details / kde wallet options.
