Switching virtuals desktops has nice animations to visualize what is happening.

Switching activities currently misses(?) any such effect, it would be great to have one here as well.
No real proposal about a visualisation, perhaps the mental model is the same as for virtual desktops, a one-dimensional row, so simular effects would be useful.

moving to plasma - activities are managed by plasma not by kwin
