Every sprint should have a goal statement.

Lydia, are you sure that the description field doesnt work? I can put a label and ask people to put their goals in the description as well.
Please note that we dont really want to make the sprints.k.o a breucratic place. Keeping it simple, fast and easy is very prefered.

@Emil: In general I agree. The thing is that having a bit more structure would help a lot in some places.
@Cornelius: How important is this one to you?

We do want to provide some guidance for running the sprint in the best way based on the experience we gained over the last decade. Requiring people to think about and state a goal for the sprint is one of the things which helps to run good sprints.
