Description Philipp Schmidt 2012-03-02 10:17:48 UTC
Version: 4.8.x (using KDE 4.8.0)
OS: Linux

When creating an Event that should repeat itself say 10 times and you add 2 exceptions to it the recurrence still ends at the same date as before, making it 8 recurrences.

This worked in KOrganizer previous to 4.7.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Create a recurring event using the "Repeat x times" method. Add exceptions to it during the time of the recurrence.

Actual Results:
Exceptions don't show up, but there are also no new events added to it after the previous last recurrence.

Expected Results:
The number of exceptions should be added as new recurrent events after the previously last event in the series.

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 3.2.7-1-ARCH
Compiler: gcc

It doesn't work in openSUSE 12.1 KDE 4.7.4 too.

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of korganizer (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
