Version:           1.99.0 (using KDE 4.8.0) 
OS:                Linux

Each time i reboot my computer and try to send an email i get the dialog asking for the smtp password. Checkin the "remember passsword" tick seems to have no effect.

Reproducible: Always

Expected Results:  
it remembers the password

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 3.2.0-17-generic
Compiler: gcc

Can't reproduce it.
Could you look at when use send an email if password is store in your kwallet ?
(item == mailtransport)

I tested it and it works fine.

I have 15 items in mailtransport, all of them with "random" numbers as names and  all of them with my password in there.

so it stores password it's ok but id is not good...

I don't think so, i've got no "KWallet is not available. It is strongly recommended to use KWallet for managing your passwords." message
