Description Michael 2012-02-27 18:00:26 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.8.0)
OS: Linux

Phonon Vlc cause KDE Daemon to display a crash when login into arch(and other distro too). This problem doesn`t appear when u switch to phonon gstreamer. But phonon gstreamer doesn`t work with amarok nor juk so guys choose to fix the packages. And try to add equalizer support with phonon-vlc or phonon-gstreamer and amarok.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Set phonon-vlc as phonon backend

Actual Results:
KDE Daemon crashes at startup

Expected Results:
Not crashing at startup

none

If this crash is reproducible with a recent version of Phonon and VLC backend, please add the backtrace.

Closing for lack of feedback. Please feel free to reopen this report if you can reproduce it with the phonon-backend-vlc version 0.6 or later and provide a valid backtrace.
