Description Larry 2012-02-26 21:58:05 UTC
Version: 4.7 (using KDE 4.7.2)
OS: Linux

An attempt to add a new folder in Local Folders results in the following error message: "Could not create folder: Unknown error. (Could not create collection)"

Is not a problem if adding a new folder in a sub-folder.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Right click Local Folders, select Add Folder, type name of new folder, click OK.

Actual Results:
A folder is actually created in /home/larry/.kde4/share/apps/kmail/mail, but the corresponding .index .index.ids are not created. The new folder does not appear in the Local Folders list in Kmail.

Expected Results:
Should have created the new folder and added it to the list of Local Folders.

I am using Kmail 4.8.2 and it still exhibits this behavior (this was installed from a Mageia 2 RPM)
Also, the created folders cannot be deleted.
