Description lnxusr 2012-02-25 17:28:52 UTC
Version: 0.65 (using KDE 4.8.0)
OS: Linux

If I change the color scheme, I need to shut down Krusader and restart in order for it to display the new colors.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Have Krusader running.
Change color scheme

Actual Results:
Krusader continues to use old colors

Expected Results:
Krusader changes colors to match every other open KDE application.

OS: Linux (i686) release 3.0.0-16-generic-pae
Compiler: gcc

Which version are you using ?
Comment 2 lnxusr 2012-05-24 18:50:49 UTC
The latest 2.4 beta 1. This occurs on all my computers with Kubuntu 11.10 and 12.04. Upgraded to KDE 4.8.2 with no change on laptop and media center.

Very weird, cannot reproduce with 2.4.0-beta1 on kde 4.8.4.
Does it still happen for you ?

Yes, it still happens. I'm attaching two screen shots, first before I change color scheme, second after. You can see the main windows components change, but the directory listing remains the previous settings. I have to shut down Krusader and restart for the colors to change.

Thanks for that screenshot, that makes it clearer.
I didn't realize you meant the panel colors.
