- What I was doing when the application crashed:I was not getting any sound from VLC playing an MKV video file with DTS 3/2+1 audio. I noticed that only gstreamer was installed. I used the package manager (Muon) to install the phonon-vlc package. I then logged out and restarted X. When I start to play the movie, I have sound after making VLC backend the default. Firefox was running in the background. I clicked on minimize in VLC, then kwin crashed. Dolphin was also running in background.
