Version: 1.7 (using KDE 4.7.2) OS: Linux When a drag operation, Dolphin shows a warning that offers the possibility to skip the operation. Waiting for the operator’s answer makes the process long in Dolphin’s opinion, which results in a notification when the process is completed. The notification has three faults: 1. it says "copied" instead if "linked" 2. it says "files" even when the items dragged are folders, 3. it counts skipped items as "copied". Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Tell Dolphin to split window. 2. Create a new folder named "KDE". 3. Enter the folder "KDE". 4. Switch to the right pane. 5. Go to location /usr/share/kde4. 6. Select all folders. 7. Drag selection to the left pane. 8. Tell Dolphin to create links. 9. Drag selection to the left pane. 10. Tell Dolphin to create shortcuts. 11. Tell Doplhin to skip all. Actual Results: 6. 7 folders selected. 7. Copy or link? 9. Copy or link? 10. Skip or replace [all]? 11. Notification: 11 files copied. Expected Results: 11. Notification: 0 items linked, 11 items skipped. OS: Linux (x86_64) release 3.1.9-1.4-desktop Compiler: gcc
This behavior is no longer applicable with KDE Frameworks 5.45 and Plasma 5.
