Version: 4.7 (using KDE 4.8.0) OS: Linux When I try to open any external disk from the device notifier, it launches one instance of konqueror after another until I unmount the disk. The same happens when I try to open a torrent folder from within ktorrent. In this last case my system freezes completely. In the case of the device notifier, I replaced "kioclient exec %f" with "kfmclient openProfile filemanagement %f" in /usr/share/kde4/apps/solid/actiones/test-predicate-openinwindow but that's obviously not enough. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: Insert an external disk and open dolphin/konqueror from the device notifier Actual Results: Infinite instances of the preferred file manager open. Expected Results: Only one window should be opened
Cannot reporduce. I was going to say this issue is probably related to the regression caused by bug# 290936, but that was addressed for the 4.8.0 release. So the question is do you still see this problem with the latest version of KDE, v4.9.x or higher ?
