Description J Appel 2012-02-20 17:09:07 UTC
Version: 4.8 (using KDE 4.8.0)
OS: Linux

When sending an email where the servers respond with "too many recipients given", the mail is not sent successfully, kmail does not store the mail under the 'sent-folder'.

The Composer window closes as soon as the sent button has been clicked, the mail is also not stored under 'drafts' or something similiar, -> the mail is lost.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
Add many recipients (+1000 contacts) to email, click on sent.

Actual Results:
- kmail composer window closes
- Server respond with "too many recipients given"
- kmail reports mail not delivered
- mail is not saved anywhere
- mail is lost

Expected Results:
- kmail composer window closes
- kmail stores email as draft
- Server respond with "too many recipients given"
- kmail reports mail not delivered
- mail remains for the user to be changed in drafts

mail is stored in the 'to be sent' folder, sorry.
