Version: 4.8.0 (using KDE 4.8.0)
OS: Linux

See below

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
Rapidly move the cursor over the desktops in the grid effect.

Actual Results:
The highlighting effect seems to get "confused" and crashes so that all desktops remain darkened.

Expected Results:
Highlighting of the desktop the cursor is above should continue.

Not sure if something really "crashed" but I had the same issue in 4.8. After moving the cursor over the desktop grid for some while the desktops weren't highlighted anymore.

In 4.8.80 it doesn't stop anymore, but it gets stuck after a while. So when you move the mouse rapidly over the desktops in the grid for a few seconds, the hightlighting gets stuck for a short amount of time and then continues until it gets stuck again and so on.

This is no major bug and the behavior has deminitely improved in 4.8.80, so leaving this as "minor".
