Description Dennis Schridde 2012-02-18 15:21:44 UTC
Version: 0.3 (using KDE 4.7.4)
OS: Linux

See below.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
Connect to a xmpp server whose certificate hostname does not match the actual hostname.

Actual Results:
You get the error in the contact manager: "Wrong certificate hostname" and in the systray: "There was a problem while trying to connect ... - The SSL/TLS certificate received from the server has different hostname than expected"

Expected Results:
Information which hostname was expected and a button to show the certificate received or at the very least information which hostname was received in the certificate.

Re bug #265315: This is actually a duplicate, right? Just that the bug title is better suited for non-technical/-telepathy people.
