Description Bill Metzenthen 2012-02-17 02:03:59 UTC
Version: 0.2 (using KDE 4.7.4)
OS: Linux

A variable time after starting knode (it can be minutes or hours), scrolling in the panes of its window will be have weirdly. Usually this means that in response to the scroll wheel on the mouse or to the scroll bar (if there is one), only a line near the top or the bottom of the pane will be affected. All other lines in the pane will be unchanged. If the cursor is then passed over the pane then each line of the pane will be correctly updated as the cursor passes over the line. Thus the pane will be correctly updated if the cursor is swiped vertically over the pane.
If the pane contains a graphic then the behaviour is less well defined but nonetheless broken.
The only fix appears to be to restart knode.
The same bug affects Akregator.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
Run knode (or akregator) and usually the problem will eventually appear.

Actual Results:
As described in the details.

Expected Results:
Scrolled correctly!.

OS: Linux (i686) release 3.0.0-16-generic-pae
Compiler: gcc
Updated kubuntu 11.10

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug.

Given that they are apparently no longer maintained, this is totally appropriate.
I had forgotten about the bug.
Years ago, I switched to Thunderbird.
