Description Martin Tlustos 2012-02-16 13:47:03 UTC
Version: 1.0.0 (using KDE 4.7.4)
OS: Linux

I have several accounts on a server, each one with caldav access to calendars. The address is always the same, the calendar name as well, only the credentials change.
Akonadi always only saves the last of those resources. I can add them, but after saving and reopening, only the last one entered is there. A workaround is to add several caldav resources, but I'd like to keep them in one place.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Open akonadi
add dav resource
enter details to add new collection
enter details from other account
save and close
reopen

Actual Results:
only last collection entered is shown

Expected Results:
all should be there

OS: Linux (i686) release 3.0.0-16-generic
Compiler: gcc

Hi Martin,

Yes, this is a limitation of the resource in its current state. The URLs you configure are used to uniquely identify the calendars discovered. Another workaround is to find the URL of the calendars of the other accounts and add those. Note that with 4.8.0 you can't create two calendars with the same protocol / URL couple.

I'm however willing to fix this, so I'll set this bug as 'NEW', but I really don't have time now to ship a fix for KDE 4.8.1. Maybe 4.8.2 if everything is going well.

Cheers,
Grégory

Seems to be fixed in 4.8.2
