There seems no possibility to sort the icons in the panel. It would be good if such a possibility could be implemented. I would suggest to implement it in the settings of the system tray. In the menu where one can configure the visibility and the short cuts of each entry, there could kind of arrow which would move an entry up an down in the list which then would determine the order in which the icons appear in the panel.
